Norman speaks to Dr James Farrell of the University of California, Los Angeles about amazing new research that looks into potentially detecting pancreatic cancer in its early stages by examining people’s saliva. Also, what if we could slow the ravages of ageing and the diseases that accompany it? US researchers believe they may be in the process of doing just that by isolating and removing the cells responsible for ageing - Norman has the story. And we're all well aware of the health consequences of smoking yet so many people are still lighting up. Smoke free laws are one strategy aimed at minimizing smoking in public places to reduce the impact on our health but do they work? Casey speaks to Professor Richard Hurt of the Mayo Institute in Minnesota to find out.
